Abstract

A new fragile and robust hardware watermarking scheme is proposed in this work for copyright protection and integrity of digital images. Proposed scheme uses coefficients of wavelet transform and watermark it by using hash function. It provides the robustness against different attacks and hashing is used as a watermark to achieve the authentication of content. The main objective of our research is not only proposed new method but also provide fast hardware platform to achieve less power usage, high performance, reliability for secure watermarking scheme. The proposed design is implemented on Hardware FPGA Xilinx System Generator platform due to its fast speed and reliability. The experimental results show that proposed architecture requires the high frequency and less power and resources that provides the cost effective solution for real time image applications
